New 40 tooth 520 pitch alloy rear sprocket by JT Sprockets

Note: this is a 520 conversion sprocket and will only fit if all of your final drive is 520 pitch, rather than the OEM 525 pitch.

Please also note that this rear sprocket requires the use of a sprocket carrier adapter. We have these available should you not already have one. This sprocket will fit the JT sprocket carrier and also the Renthal sprocket carrier, but no other brand of sprocket carriers. Please call or email us should you require further information regarding possible fitment.

This will fit the following models.

* Note * This is part of a 520 conversion on the above models, as they are either 525 or 530 pitch as OEM, depending upon model. So you would need to convert all of the final drive on those models. Brand new light weight billet alloy sprocket carrier. Makes changing rear sprockets quick and easy.

This gives a performance advantage as it will reduce un-sprung mass at the rear hub. This helps to improve both acceleration and turn in due the lower inertia generated at the rear hub.

The pattern is correct to accept sprockets from the big name manufacturers including Renthal & JT, so there are plenty of options for sprocket choice.

A very high spec piece of kit that also implements a cush drive saver. The extra pieces of alloy around the rear of each cush drive as shown, stops fatigued cush drive bobbins from separating and causing damage to the eccentric rear hub. This is a known weak point on rear cush drives and eliminated by this sprocket adapter.

Fitting a quick release sprocket adapter means no more reaching for a huge socket to remove the sprocket carrier when changing the rear sprocket.
