Dayco 95 tooth cam timing belts pair for many Ducati models.
The production of these valve timing belts starts with a fabric / rubber mat which is sewn together in the first operation in order to obtain a roll which is then applied to the vulcanization mold with a specific tooth profile.
In the course of the following operations, various layers of rubber material and the tensile strand are laid on and vulcanized together. The pull cord (made of fiberglass) transfers the main load and gives the belt additional stability.
This drawstring is a continuous material which has not been joined together and therefore gives the belt the tear strength.
The seam visible on the inside at one point is therefore not a stability-defining feature.

These are made by Dayco in Italy and are directly equivalent to Ducati OEM part number 73710091A but also compatible with alternate part numbers 73740051A, 73740111B, 73710031A and 73710061A

Please note: these are 95 tooth belts. Later model Ducati 748 owners need to check whether they have the original head or the later ST stepped heads from circa 2002 onward prior to ordering. If you have the later stepped heads, then you would instead need the 93 tooth belts. Please message or call us for more advice regarding this, should you have a later model 748 and be unsure.
